what we believe

We believe that solid, Biblical doctrine is a must for a healthy church.  At Cornerstone we endeavor to keep the main thing the main thing as it relates to doctrinal issues.  So many churches fight over doctrinal issues that are not core to salvation.  Cornerstone Christian Center is a place that fights for solid doctrine, yet at the same time respects different perspectives and views that we all can learn and grow from.
 
We believe:
  • The Bible is inspired by God
  • There is only One true God revealed in 3 persons, Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God
  • Our sin separates us from God
  • Jesus Christ is our only hope to be reunited with God
  • Water Baptism and Communion are vital to the life of the church
  • The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is available for all believers
  • We should endeavor to become more like Jesus Christ
  • Our mission is to worship God and share the hope we have in Jesus
  • God can physically and emotionally heal us
  • Jesus Christ is coming soon
